Winter Blues

Hi Folks-

Well, it looks like winter has not quite run its course and its been a long one already. I envy all of you who have gone south for a period of time this year, and I have to admit to some degree of satisfaction that Sharon and I have hung in there and toughed it out all winter, particularly because the winter started in early November. Satisfaction aside, we’re definitely going south next winter for a while.

The fish coming in tomorrow is excellent as always. We’ll have halibut again this week, and lemon sole, swordfish and Pemaquid oysters. Sharon and I are having scallops tonight, just searing them in a sautee pan. Yummy.

Fish arriving tomorrow:

  • Alaskan Cod, flash frozen at sea
  • east coast halibut
  • Sustainable Shetland Salmon
  • Dayboat Haddock
  • lemon sole
  • Swordfish
  • Icelandic Arctic Char
  • 16/20 Wild Gulf Shrimp, fresh
  • 10/20 Dry Scallops
  • Pemaquid oysters

See you at the Store!
