Winning at Christmas

Hi Folks-

I feel like I’m way behind the Christmas eight ball, in terms of shopping. I always used to wait until the last minute and do most of my shopping downtown, but last year Sharon convinced me to shop early and I was finished shopping a week before Christmas. I loved going into that last week with no pressure on me whatsoever. I thought I had enjoyed the tension of last minute shopping all those years but getting things done early was so much better. Well, I better get started because I’ve yet to purchase present one.

Then there was the year that Sharon and I made gourmet food baskets for everyone. We made appetizers and froze them so that each person had enough to feed a small cocktail party of people. I can’t remember all that we included but I remember one of the favorites was shrimp toast. We were very popular that year.

Fish arriving tomorrow:

  • Alaskan Cod, flash frozen at sea
  • Dayboat yellow tail sole
  • Sustainable Shetland Salmon
  • Dayboat Haddock
  • Swordfish
  • Icelandic Arctic Char
  • 16/20 Wild Gulf Shrimp
  • 10/20 Dry Scallops
  • Duxbury oysters
