The Upside

Hi Folks-

What a beautiful weekend! Peter and I played on Saturday and rested on Sunday which is just how a weekend should be (perhaps chores should have been in there but what the hell it’s been a long cold winter and spring, the chores will wait).

So very often as an owner you focus on what needs to be improved, the very rare complaint you get or on your endless to do list. Today I’m going to share some of the compliments that keep us going.

  • You have the nicest staff, where do you find them everyone is so nice!”

  • Your clam chowder is better than anything we have found in Boston.”

  • A customer after a recent tour of the south “We didn’t find any pulled pork that was as good as the Market’s”

  • Your Porch is beautiful it reminds me of Venice” 🙂

  • Did you come up with that sandwich menu? Every single thing I have had on it is great, how did you do that?”

  • Your market reminds me of the tiny stores I found in Europe.”

  • Thanks for keeping us fed, I don’t know what we’d do without you”

  • My Brother-in-law lives in Manhattan and can’t believe the choice of fish I have available to me through you”

So thanks! We’ll keep trying hard because you are all so worth it!
