Summer days, true love and home grown tomatoes

Hi Folks-

Late post tonight. As part of our celebration of being open for ten years (expect a party in October) I decided that Peter and I needed to take some time off during the summer. Don’t get me wrong, we usually eek out a week or so but this summer we will have had two partial weeks and three or four long weekends!! Today was one of those and it was great. I really love my husband and it’s so fun just to hang out with him and not worry about business. But back to business :-)!

Steph ordered fish for tomorrow and the list is below. 1000 Stone Farm is keeping up with the Cherry tomatoes, greens and oyster mushrooms. Elmore Roots is keeping us in blue berries and I have hopes that we will have berries from Butterfield Beef and Berry soon as well.

Peter will be doing the post on Thursday, probably, so if I don’t see you in the store by Friday, Bye! I’ll see you after attending a major medieval encampment in PA with my sister and daughter. I’m going to bring food, my chemise and a “learn all about” attitude! I betcha I have fun!

Fish tomorrow:

  • Trout

  • Wild Coho salmon

  • Dayboat Haddock

  • Icelandic Arctic Char

  • Swordfish

  • Alaskan Cod. Frozen at sea

  • Shetland Salmon

  • Yellow tail sole, dayboat
