Seven Daisies!

Hi Folks-

Well this is apparently the spring that wasn’t, I’m pretty much just still glad it isn’t snowing so I won’t kvetch too much.

Very fun and exciting news, The Uncommon Market has been nominated in the 7 Daisies Awards for best locally owned market outside of Chittenden County. Just being nominated is a thrill! Winning would be the bomb. Here’s the link for where to go vote for us! Seven Daisies Voting.
I did it to see how onerous it was (and to vote 🙂 and it’s not bad, you have to register with an email address, make a password and then just start voting. I think you need to vote on at least fifty categories, I zipped right through, picking out all my favorite places. So hey, Vote for us!!

Some of you might wonder how our “no” diet is going…We cheated once, basically the diet is no meat, not booze, no simple carbs. Did we drink? We did not! Did we suck down some sugar? We did not! Did we eat meat? We did and I can not believe how happy I was to eat a skinny ass piece of chicken breast. Peter and I are normally pretty disdainful of the chicken breast, feeling that the legs and thighs are so much tastier. Well no more, that chicken breast made me Happy! And actually we are both feeling quite a bit zippier from our “no” diet.
