Hi Folks-

So last week I whined a little that I had volunteered to work in the deli last Sunday, the first time in over five years. I have to say that I performed my duties conscientiously if not perfectly. It was blessedly slow, business-wise, so that was good for me as a deli worker, if not as an owner. Sharon had fun with Chelsea and all was well. A few friends threatened to call in orders of ten or fifteen sandwiches and I just sort of shook my head ruefully, expecting just such behavior from my friends.

Fish tomorrow is very exciting. Soft Shell Crabs have shown up finally and many of you have pre-ordered for Friday. There will still be some up for grabs tomorrow and you should be able to order more for next Tuesday. We also have almost sushi grade tuna coming in at a good price and we also have bluefish for the first time in months.

Fish arriving tomorrow:

  • Alaskan Cod, flash frozen at sea
  • Grade 2+ Tuna
  • Sustainable Shetland Salmon
  • Dayboat Haddock
  • Swordfish
  • Icelandic Arctic Char
  • Bluefish
  • 16/20 Wild Gulf Shrimp, fresh
  • 10/20 Dry Scallops
  • Pemaquid oysters
  • Soft Shell Crabs
