Cooking over the weekend!

Hi Folks-

So I spent a bunch of time cooking this weekend; remade the pastrami, came out great, made rye bread, not too bad for the first time out, and did a cheddar sesame bread with a four way braid, which was lovely but ginormous, should have made two loaves,(I did check the recipe and it just didn’t say but I should have figured). And now I am officially over it for a bit. No doubt that by mid week I’ll be cooking something.

For tonight I thought to see if I could find some vegetable casserole that might provide inspiration. Not so much, four pages and 80 recipes later, the answer is pretty much put a bunch of vegetables in with a bunch of cheese/milk and or bread. I think I’ll stick with my plan of sirloin chili (yes there is some at the store) and just saute a quick pile of vegetables to go with. Viva la vegetable!
