I’m on the run because I’m having dinner at Kismet with Alec tonight, something we try to do every few months whether we’re hungry or not. Business has been picking up the last week or so after a long slow winter, and by all means come in when you can. We appreciate seeing you.
I have two product lines I want to mention. First, we’ve just started carrying Per’s Smoked Fish, along with his seafood based dips and these are terrific. He’s based in either Hardwick or Greensboro Vermont, I can’t remember which, and his smoked salmon is vastly superior to what you commonly find in stores.
I also want to make a plug for Vermont Fresh Pasta, which we’ve sold for some time. Frankly, it doesn’t seem to sell well in our store, it’s like people never notice it, but the ravioli and the other pastas they make are excellent. Their pesto, too, is incomparable. Find it in the door to the right of the prepared food section, and give it a try.
Still no sign of soft shelled crabs, but I keep checking.
