A winter moment

Hi Folks-

Okay, deep breath of brisk, cold air. The wheel has turned and we are all on a new adventure together. It’s winter now and having had a free extra month of fall I’m ready. Time to bring out the slow cooker, focus on small intimate dinners with a few close friends. Maybe time to check in with the all day vegan theory…eat like a vegan all day and then enjoy a charming dinner. I know I’m craving vegetables, loads of them, tasty salads, squash and other deep winter tastes, and dark green things, maybe not so much on the starch and sweet end of things for a bit. Protein yes but as a high note, not the chorus, not the soloist. I’ll keep you going with recipes as we eat them.
