So this is Christmas

Hi Folks-

So it”s seven p.m. and Sharon is still at the store cutting roasts for tomorrow. Standing Rib Roasts, Tied Tenderloins, Tied Standing Rib Roasts, Stuffed Pork loin roasts. All the meat came in yesterday and it all had to be cut today, and Sharon is still at it. Tomorrow morning comes the challenge of cutting and wrapping the fish you’ve ordered so that you can pick it up at noon and in the afternoon.

I’m home trying to get some gifts wrapped, at least the ones for Sharon, taking advantage of her being away. It’s been a great Christmas so far for us and the store, with slightly more orders for meat and seafood than we had last year, which was the best ever. Thank you all, so much, for supporting the Uncommon Market the way you do. It’s very gratifying to Sharon and myself.

Tomorrow everyone will be picking up their orders, (Remember that we close at NOON on Saturday), and we’ll have plenty of festive food available for family dinners the next few nights. Filet Mignons, cut to order, sides of Shetland Salmon if you’re having people over, an abundance of oysters for a pre dinner taste treat.

Actually, Sharon just got home and she says there are extra standing rib roasts available, for those who may have forgotten to plan ahead or for those whose plans have changed. Just call in the morning and you can pick it up in the afternoon.
